I am a Singaporean filmmaker based in the UK. I’m especially drawn to intimate, observational documentaries that sit closely with people and their contradictions. I’m interested in how film can transform tension between opposing worlds into moments of vulnerability and connection.

 

Coming from a background in factual entertainment, and shaped by a lifelong love of animation, I draw from both fiction and documentary in the way I construct and observe stories in my independent work.

 

My work has been broadcast on platforms including Netflix and National Geographic. I am also an alumna of the MFA in Directing Documentary at the National Film and Television School in the UK.
